Logon Help

Use your netid and LAN password (the same one you use to log into your computer) to logon. The browser will "remember" you, even if you back all the way out to the portal page, so you should only have to login once per session. For your protection and privacy, please quit the browser at the end of your session.

Return to the page you just came from or go to the NRES Intranet Portal.

Browser-specific notes for Internet Explorer and Netscape follow.

Internet Explorer
The password prompt for IE versions 5 and greater will ask for your User Name, Password, and Domain. Use your netid prefixed with "NRES\", NRES LAN password, and "nres" for the domain. Only the password is case-sensitive. Earlier versions ask only for User Name and Password. You do not need to prefix your netid with the domain as you would for Netscape.

Netscape
The password prompt for Netscape 4.7 and greater asks for your User Name and Password. Use your netid prefixed with "NRES\" and your LAN password.
